Only three days remain until the Najjanankumbi District Seventh-day Adventist Camp Meeting! Historically, Najjanankumbi District has been regarded as a matriarchal stronghold (where an old Mother is the head of a large elephant group), overseeing numerous congregations with a legacy of spiritual leadership. The strength of this matriarchal system is reflected in its vibrant congregations, which exhibit a remarkable degree of autonomy while remaining rooted in the district’s unifying vision.
From Najjanankumbi has emerged the dynamic and enthusiastic Namasuba Area, a youthful congregation eager to soar like a young eagle taking its second flight. This year marks the second Camp Meeting for the Namasuba Area, a testament to its growing independence and spiritual vitality under the guidance of the larger Najjanankumbi District.
No the, 24th August, 2025, with just one week until the Camp Meeting, youth from Najjanankumbi District and Namasuba Area gathered at Kitebi Primary School for pre-camp sports events, including football, netball, tug-of-war, and more. These activities were not about competition but about celebration, fostering joy, fellowship, and unity. This is the spirit of the Camp Meeting—a shared commitment to making disciples of Jesus Christ, filled with zeal, cheers, and heartfelt communion. Together, these we believers forge bonds of mission and grace for Christ.
