Building God's house Together
About this Project
Our church family has grown tremendously over the past few years, and we've reached a point where our current building can no longer comfortably accommodate all our worshippers. We're embarking on a sacred mission to extend our church building, creating space for 500 more worshippers.

1. HISTORICAL GROWTH
Since its humble beginnings in 1948 with 13 members, the Adventist Church Najjanankumbi has grown exponentially, outgrowing its original home-based fellowship and even the temporary structures of the 1950s. The current 450-seater building, while a milestone, struggles to accommodate the expanding congregation.
2. Population Increase:
With a legacy of successful evangelism, including door-to-door campaigns and public meetings since the 1950s, the church has seen significant membership growth, notably converting prominent figures like Dr. Samson Kisekka and Prince Jjuuko. This continuous influx of members necessitates a larger space.
3. Community Impact:
The church’s outreach, including medical camps, prison ministry, and youth programs, has drawn more people into its fold. As these initiatives continue to win souls and retain members, the existing facility is increasingly inadequate to host the growing community.
4. Youth Engagement:
The establishment of vibrant youth organizations like KIDAYO and NYMS, alongside vocational skilling programs tackling social vices, has attracted a dynamic younger demographic. An extension would provide space for these expanding ministries to flourish.
